Clareamento dentário após traumatismo dento-alveolar

Resumo
A mudança de cor da coroa dentária após traumatismo dento-alveolar é uma seqüela relativamente comum. Portanto, o objetivo do trabalho é apresentar um caso clínico de clareamento interno de dente que sofreu traumatismo utilizando o perborato de sódio mais água destilada. A paciente C.B.S., 19 anos, gênero feminino, foi atendida na Disciplina de Clínica Integrada da Faculdade de Odontologia de Araçatuba – UNESP após ter sofrido traumatismo dento-alveolar apresentando subluxação dos elementos 11 e 41. Decorrido 7 meses, o elemento 11 necessitou de tratamento endodôntico. Após 3 anos do trauma acontecido, a paciente retornou com queixa de alteração de cor do elemento 11. O tratamento indicado foi o clareamento dentário interno utilizando perborato de sódio e água destilada. Com o uso dessa técnica, em dente traumatizado com escurecimento de coroa, obteve-se um resultado estético favorável, e foi mantida a integridade dos tecidos periodontais, que contribuiu para o sucesso do tratamento

ABSTRACT
The discoloration of the teeth crown after dentoalveolar trauma is a relatively usual sequela. Therefore, the aim of this work was to present a clinical report of internal bleaching using sodium perborate and water after a dentoalveolar trauma. The patient C.B.S, a 19-year-old girl, was seen at the Discipline of Integrated Clinic of the School of Dentistry at Araçatuba – São Paulo State University – UNESP. After clinical evaluation, a subluxation of the upper right central incisor and lower right central incisor were observed. After 7 months, the upper right central incisor needed endodontic treatment. After 3 years the trauma happened, the patient returned complaining about the discoloration of the upper right central incisor. The treatment indicated was the internal bleaching with sodium perborate and water. The use of this technique in traumatic discoloration teeth showed a favorable aesthetic result and kept the integrity of periodontal tissues, which contributed for the treatment success
